Why Am I Still Fat?!

"Help! I haven't lost weight in a month and i've been working super hard! What's going on??"". These  problems has affected most of people who try to lose weight and get in shape. There are many reasons this could happen. It is important to be honest with yourself to be able to find out what's going on.
  • Don't lie to yourself. Do you wake up at 3 a.m and rush to your fridge and eat whatever you find? Alot of people do this, and this can affect their progress. It doesn't matter if you did everything well in the day, waking up and eating a 6 inch sandwich will definitely affect you.

  • Have you worked hard enough? If you went out and ran for 15 minutes and call it a day, this is what's affecting you. If you have no idea of how many calories you are burning, get a heart rate monitor. Many monitors also count the amount of calories you burnt, so you don't get lost on your calorie count.

  • Bad Habits. Getting a good night sleep is vital for your goal. Try to get a good 7 to 8 hour sleep for your efforts to be seen. Not getting enough sleep causes stress and releases cortisol, which is an effort disintegrator.

  • Muscle weighs. This one is actually good. If your workouts have not been entirely cardio, and you ahve been eating lots of protein,  there is a high chance this is your case. Since muscle also carries weight, the pounds of fat you lost were replenished with muscle pounds. To not get confused with these, it's important for you to measure your body fat percentage every now and then to get a clear view on what is really going on with your body. Most people say they want to lose weight, but my version of this is "i want to reduce my fat percentage".
